周光泉,博士,教授,博士生导师。主要研究领域:
(1)医学超声成像,主要包括:超声波束合成成像技术和自由臂三维超声成像技术等方面的研究。
(2)医学图像智能分析,主要包括:从理论探索和应用拓展两个方面同时开展科学研究,努力将计算机科学技术应用于视觉重建、医学图像成像和计算机辅助诊断。
现为IEEE 高级会员、中国生物医学工程学会医学图像信息与控制分会委员、中国抗癌协会诊疗一体化专委会委员、以及中国生物医学工程学会医学人工智能分会青年委员。主持或参与的国家自然科学基金面上项目,国家重点研发计划子课题,江苏省重点研发计划,香港政府创新及科技基金等项目,已经在脊柱侧凸三维超声成像、肌肉骨骼组织功能分析、医学图像处理等方面取得了多项成果,累计发表论文90余篇,其中包括IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, Ultrasonics, Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology等SCI期刊。作为核心成员, 参与研制出了青少年脊柱侧凸三维超声成像诊断系统,受到众多投资者的青睐,香港中慧国际控股有限公司先后投入1000万港币对此项研究成果进行商业转化开发,经过共同努力,产品Scolioscan已经顺利通过欧盟(CE)认证,有望在将来惠及广大的青少年特发性脊柱侧凸患者。
