博士期间从事低温生物学领域研究，主要研究细胞的低温冻存及干燥保存相关技术。现主要研究移植用胰岛的低温保存方案与机理，以及结合纳米技术改善低温保存技术、纳米颗粒与细胞的生物效应、作用及机制等。
