生物信息学：表观基因组学。通过建立模型和算法，解析生物医学大数据(尤其是组学数据)，发现与癌症、退行性疾病等相关的分子、基因和通路，识别新的诊断标志物和治疗靶点；针对靶点，筛选治疗药物。
